Train Timetable for St. Petersburg - Velikiy Novgorod Buy Train Tickets Online

The train is modern and practical. A lot of persons however and it was not obvious to find a seat, maybe there should be more trains between Sankt Petersburg and Novgorod ?

The only one toilet was working, people wait for the toilet during whole trip.

Liked : 1. The train was on time both for departure and arrival 2. The train was neat and clean 3. The train has comfortable seats 4. The Station was well maintained Disliked : 1. Almost all the information which were provided on the board were in Russian. It was very difficult to understand the language. Adequate information should be provided in English as well, which can be easily understood for the tourists. 2. The trains lack adequate space for bulky baggage, which donot fit the overhead compartments. 3. There is no markings outside the coaches on the type of seating facility being provided. It becomes difficult to understand the classes, even though it was a free seating for us. 4. My train number changed, and I had no information on this. It was really difficult finding my train with the train number and no official could help. I then boarded the train with the Origin - Destination and time in mind. Luckily it was the same train that I had to catch. Information for change in train number should be brought to notice in a timely manner, especially when one is booking their trains well in advance.
